What went wrong this weekend.. Cut on the finger that required stitches at PG emergency, Julie alone at the campsite with all 3 kids for 5 hours, bug bites all over us, Lily got a nasty black fly bite, forgot it was fathers day and no sleep because mosquitos got in the trailer through a cracked screen. Even though all this happened, it was still fun and we can not wait to take the trailer out again.

Wow that is amazing. What is up with the Mosquitoes, didn't Julie hit the no bugs check box when booking the campsite. No that was your older brother in-law giving you that priceless bit of wisdom "that there will be millions of bugs." But did you listen? Lily's eye says "No." Looking forward to Shuswap.

I blame the hand on the Frei genes that mom has passed on to me. Apparently these are a special mutant gene that attracts sharp objects to appendages. Not my fault.

Wow, I think I am kind of glad we didn't come. I have the mutant gene that attracts bugs to me - I don't do well with mosquitoes. But, I'm glad you got to try out the trailer. Mike, I don't think you are allowed to have axes or knives anymore.

Julie has created a camping policy for me. I must always have steel toes, cut proof gloves and bucking pants on. Also, I must always be 10m away from children at all times.
Sounds fair to me.
